I Shall Return

​When the tide clears

When the clouds fade

When the sun rises

I shall return

With a heart braver

With courage mightier

With hope brighter

I shall return

When they allow 

When they  settle down

When they are ready 

To accept

To end the anger

To end the greed

To end the selfishness

To kill the devil in

To brighten the unity within

I shall return

The dream, the goals

Not captivating

But inspiring

Not fullfilling

But satisfying

Not breathtaking

But breathsaving

Needs are mightier

Wants are tinier

To eradicate poverty

To burn off hunger

To establish equality

To enforce peace

I shall return

For the good

For the better

For the worst of worst

I shall return.
